The reactive power regulator RGT-12E (TENSE) is a fully automatic device allowing optimal switching of the compensation stages.

The digital processing of the values measured by the regulator ensures high accuracy in the evaluation of the effective voltage, current, and power factor.

The installation of the device is fully automatic - the regulator determines the size of the different connected compensation stages by itself. These parameters can also be entered manually.

The regulator activates and deactivates the compensation stages in order to regulate reactive power with a minimal number of switches. At the same time, the controller takes into account the regular load of the different stages and preferably switches the stages that have been powered off the longest and for which the residual load is minimal. During the regulation process, the compensation stages are continuously monitored in parallel - failures and changes in values are detected, temporarily removed stages are periodically tested, and if necessary, they are reintegrated into the regulation process.
