Digital Overcurrent Relay with 3×3 Digit LED Display TRM-400

The TRM-400 digital overload relay is designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents while allowing control of operation.

Device usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the attached wiring diagram.
2. Once the wiring is complete, connect the power supply. After powering on, the screen displays the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Set the overload value using the regulator "A>". The set value is displayed on the left screen.
4. The regulator "t" allows you to set the duration of the delay. The set value is also displayed on the left screen.

When the device is powered on:

• The relay turns on, the output contact switches to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator lights up.
• If the current exceeds the set overload value (A>), the device counts down the delay time, and the ERR indicator lights up.
• Once the programmed time has elapsed, the relay cuts off the contact, switches to terminal 1, and the OUT indicator turns off.

The electronic current relay of the TRM-400 series is designed to automatically disconnect consumers when the maximum allowed currents are exceeded. It has a programmable trigger range and the ability to set the trigger time and the inverse trigger time. There are three modes to return to operating state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTO, AUTO.

Reset modes

• Manual mode: To reset the device after an overload, you must press the reset button. In this mode, the corresponding indicator lights up.
• Semi-automatic mode: Allows the device to automatically reset the system three times when an overload occurs, then wait for a manual reset on the next fault. The corresponding LED lights up.
• Automatic mode: The device allows the system to automatically reset each time an overload error occurs. The corresponding indicator lights up.

Note: To change mode, press and hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode is changed, the corresponding indicator lights up.
