The TRM-200 digital overcurrent relays are designed to protect loads from damage caused by high currents while allowing for operational monitoring.

Device usage and operating principle

1. Connect the device according to the wiring diagram.
2. When the wiring is complete, power on the device. After powering on, the screen displays the set values for 5 seconds.
3. Use the controller "A>" to set the overcurrent value. The set value is displayed on the left screen.
4. The regulator "t" allows you to set the duration of the delay. The set value is also displayed on the left screen.

When the device is powered on:
- The relay turns on, the output contact switches to terminal 3, and the OUT indicator lights up.
- If the current exceeds the set overcurrent value (A>), the device starts counting down the delay time and the ERR indicator lights up.
- When the set time has elapsed, the relay turns off, the contact switches to terminal 1, and the OUT indicator turns off.

Device description

The electronic current relay of the TRM-200 series is designed to automatically disconnect devices when the maximum allowed current is exceeded.
It has a programmable trigger range, the ability to set the delay and return time.
There are 3 modes to return to operating state - MANUAL, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC.

Reset modes:

- Manual mode: After an overcurrent fault, the device must be reset by pressing the reset button. In this mode, the corresponding LED is lit.
- Semi-automatic mode: the system automatically resets three times after an overcurrent error, then waits for a manual reset at the next error. In this mode, the corresponding LED is lit.
- Automatic mode: the system automatically resets after each overcurrent error. In this mode, the corresponding LED is lit.

Note: To change mode, hold the SELECT button for 10 seconds. When the mode is changed, the corresponding LED lights up.

Asymmetry 50% (fixed)

If the difference between the largest and smallest phase current exceeds 50%, the device enters asymmetry error mode within 2 seconds.
(This prevents damage to the system in case of a phase failure during motor operation.)

When an asymmetry error occurs:
- The display group of the two phases causing the error blinks and the ERR indicator lights up.
- To exit the asymmetry error mode, the device must be manually reset.
