We are pleased to present a new product line: cam switches in packages from the manufacturer Opas (Turkey).

The company Principal Electric Company presents a new series of products – cam switches in packages manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas started its activities in 1982 in Istanbul. For over 40 years, it has been providing innovative solutions in the cam switch market and successfully exports its products to 20 different countries.

Cam switches are designed for :

• control the mechanisms driven by three-phase or single-phase motors, modify the winding configuration of an alternating current motor (star-triangle) and change the direction of rotation ;
• the control and signaling in working circuits ;
• the switching between different operating modes of heating devices ;
• the turning on and off of the drives of the disconnection mechanisms in substations.

Our new series of rotary switches offers a wide range of connection possibilities for various numbers of poles and rated currents.
You can choose the switch based on the purpose and technical characteristics of the circuit.

For example:
– for turning a load on and off on a line, choose the "0–1" diagram ;
– for switching to a parallel line (reverse load, backup source) – "1–2" or "1–0–2" ;
– for switching between different operating modes of a device (normal speed, heating mode), you will need a "0–1–2–3" diagram.

Moreover, you can choose a special switch for a voltmeter or an ammeter, or a "star/triangle" switch.
