TENSE has expanded its range of reactive power regulators by adding reactive power compensation systems.
The regulator for reactive power compensation units with 12 steps, RGT-12E from the manufacturer Tense (Turkey), is a new design developed by TENSE, meeting the latest requirements of modern reactive power compensation systems, installed in various locations in the industrial and tertiary sectors – factories, workshops, farms, hotels, gas stations, shopping centers, schools, hospitals, and banks.
The new reactive power regulator (reactive power compensation regulator) has the following features:
- 12 relay outputs;
- Possibility of use with three or a single current transformer;
- 2.9-inch LCD screen + 17 LED indicators – allowing for simple configuration and complete monitoring of the compensation system operation;
- Separate relay output, programmable for different emergency situations – overvoltage, harmonics, power factor;
- Protection of parameters by password to prevent any unauthorized modification of the operating parameters of the capacitor unit;
- Display of connected steps;
- Automatic and/or manual input of capacitor values by step;
- Automatic control of operating time for uniform use of different steps;
- User-adjustable various time parameters – response time to network variations, discharge time, delay between reactivation of a step, delay between activation of multiple steps;
- Compensation of inductive and capacitive reactive components;
- Integrated meters for active/reactive energy (import/export/inductive/capacitive);
- Display of harmonics up to the 31st order for current and voltage;
- Measurement of total harmonic distortion of current and/or voltage;
- Integrated reactive energy analyzer with logging for progressive capacitor selection (20 records of 9999 minutes).
